| Maurizio
Mesiti started his equine service company in
July 1988, in Georgetown, South Carolina.
Among the fastest growing English–riding
system in the Carolinas, Mr. Mesiti’s
purpose was to spread the natural method of
training horses developed in 1909, by
Federico Caprilli.
The success
was almost immediate and several farms in
the Carolinas had the opportunity to have
Mr. Mesiti help them to develop their
potential as riders. Also, several
instructors expanded their experience
through consulting with Mr. Mesiti.
The services
offered ranged from horse training in the
disciplines of jumping and dressage, farm
management, even farm development.
Through DMES
they both spread the experience in the
Carolinas and then to the Mid-West by
consulting as trainers for both horses and
riders.
Two years were
dedicated training at Kirkwood Community
College in Cedar Rapids, IA, from 1997 to
1999.
Today DMES is
a family-environment training facility near
Iowa City, IA.
Business
established in 2002 and serving all of
Johnson and Lynn Counties.
